My deskjet printer won’t print!

On Monday mornings you sit behind your desk sipping some hot tea and suddendly think of something you really need to print before the lesson starts.
But THAT morning something goes terribly wrong: you printer looks dead.
Let’s see a couple of tricks which could put it back to work!
1) Turn it off using the correct procedure (power button; sometimes you need to long-press and then release it). Then unplug the power connector from the printer and the USB cable (if there’s any) from the computer.
Wait 10 seconds.
Reconnect the power plug and the USB.
Turn on the printer and wait a couple of minutes for anything to come out from it. If nothing seems queued then you can try to print something
I you’ve still had no luck, try the next trick...
2) There are many printers around the school and many share the cartdriges. Ask gina which printer has the same cartridges as yours andm if that printer is working, try to switch the cartdriges between your printer and the one indicated by Gina.
